Driving smooth IT implementation through storytelling and digital learning
How do you ensure a new IT system is not just launched–but actually adopted?
Client: Danmarks Eksport- og Investeringsfond (EIFO)
Task: IT Adoption
EIFO was preparing to implement a new IT system across the organization. The challenge was not only technical. It was about clarity, engagement, and shared ownership during change.
Together, we designed a learning program that supported both system adoption and cultural alignment.
Aligning Technology and Culture

Long-term value
Sustainable digital learning framework.
The Challenge
New IT systems rarely fail because of functionality. They fail when employees lack clarity, confidence, or motivation to use them.
EIFO needed to introduce a new system in a way that made it easy to learn and meaningful to adapt. Employees had to understand both how the system worked and why the change mattered.
The task was therefore twofold: reduce complexity and build ownership.
Our Approach
Virtio designed a video-based learning program structured around two complementary tracks.
The Culture Track: Story-driven videos featuring employees from across the organization created shared understanding and context. The focus was on purpose, direction, and collective ownership.
The Instruction Track: Short, bite-sized instructional videos made system functionality easy to learn and easy to revisit. The content was designed to work both as onboarding and as an ongoing reference library.
By combining cultural framing with practical guidance, the program addressed both mindset and mechanics.
